Intensive Outpatient
:  Intensive Outpatient care usually consists of three to four hours, three to five times per week.  These services are available from 9:00am – 5:00pm to accommodate school schedules.  Adolescents who attend this level of care have either completed higher levels of care or have been assessed as having the capability to remain drug and alcohol free with minimal supervision but who are not yet capable of sustaining that sobriety without continued support and therapy.  This level of care is presently available to adolescents and adults.

Outpatient Treatment:  Outpatient treatment is usually used for follow up care of individuals or families in need of continued care after completion of primary treatment and usually last four to six sessions.  Often, this is used to assist adolescents as they make the final transition back into daily life but who have some unresolved issues in need to limited therapy.  Sometimes, there are serious issues that have affected a person that may or may not be completely resolved by the time the client completes their substance abuse treatment.  These issues can include but are not limited to on-going depression, anxiety, anger management or trauma related issues in need of continued monitoring or care but which do not require a continuation of the higher levels of care.
