Detoxification
PBI
is not a hospital, however we do provide what is called,
“Outpatient Detoxification”.
Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Detoxification is
appropriate for drug treatment center clients in need
of Medically Managed Detoxification but do not require
twenty four hour Medical Supervision.
Sometimes drug treatment center clients who are
appropriate stay at a Palm Beach Institute residence
while in Intensive Outpatient Care or Partial Hospitalization
services. Drug
treatment center clients in need of Residential Services
(twenty four hour monitored care) are not able to undergo
drug and alcohol detoxification at The Palm Beach Institute.
Residential clients, if necessary undergo drug
and alcohol detoxification in a facility that works
closely with PBI to ensure medical stabilization for
one to five days and then are admitted to The Palm Beach
Institute. This
level of care is available to adults and adolescents.
