Intensive Outpatient Programsat the Palm Beach Institute are offered days and evenings. These programs make it possible for our clients to balance ongoing treatment with personal and professional commitments. Clients who attend this level of care as a stand-alone have either completed more intensive treatment or been assessed as having the ability to remain free from drug and alcohol addiction with minimal supervision, but are not yet able to sustain recovery without continued support and therapy.
Outpatient clients attend the Intensive Outpatient Program three times a week for group therapy. Individual sessions are scheduled around other commitments that clients may have in the community. Psychiatric care continues to be an important component of this program, when it is clinically indicated.
When in outpatient care, we at the Palm Beach Institute provide services to help those maintain their continued sobriety. We offer drug and alcohol testing as necessary to help our clients remain committed to the program. We teach relapse prevention skills as well as life skills to the clients to help them engage in this new way of living. Each client will receive a hand tailored treatment plan to address their specific issues.
Each client receives a hand tailored treatment plan, life skills coaching and vocational training as necessary. One-on-one counseling is also available to our Outpatient clients as well.
We will assist clients in finding 12-Step meetings as well as obtaining sponsors, as this is an integral component to sustained recovery.
