A Multi-disciplinary Approach to Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment at the Palm Beach Institute

Our multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of drug abuse and alcoholism honors the diversity of people and personalities who struggle with addiction. We know that addiction is no respecter of people, position, power, race, culture, or creed. People show up for treatment with different drugs of choice and using styles; they come with varying using histories and stories. They respond to different forms of therapeutic modalities and counseling approaches. The clinical staff at the Palm Beach Institute comes from a variety of backgrounds: psychiatry, marriage and family, mental health, psychodrama, liberal arts and masters-level counseling, social work, chemical dependency counseling and EAP certification. Our team approach to creating individualized treatment plans for substance abuse and alcoholism insures understanding of each client from many different perspectives in order to offer the format for treatment to which each individual is most responsive.
